RULES FOR SIGNIFICANT FIGURES:

  • All non-zero digits are significant.
  • Zeros between any numbers are significant.
  • Trailing zeros in numbers without decimal are not significant.
  • Trailing zeros to the right in the numbers with decimal are significant.
  • Leading zero is not significant.
