Midpoint Formula Tutorial
$$x\;=\frac{\;mx_2*nx_1}{m+n}$$
$$y\;=\frac{\;my_2*ny_1}{m+n}$$
If P is midpoint
So m = n
$$x\;=\frac{\;nx_2*nx_1}{n+n}$$
$$x\;=\frac{\;n(x_2*x_1)}{2n}$$
$$x\;=\frac{\;x_2*x_1}{2}$$
Therefore:
$$y\;=\frac{\;y_2*y_1}{2}$$
Midpoint Formula:
$$\text{Midpoint Formula}\;=$$
$$(\frac{\;x_2*x_1}{2},\frac{\;y_2*y_1}{2})$$
Let x1=-3 and y1=3.In the same way x2=5 and y2=3.Putting all the values in formula.
$$\text{Midpoint Formula}\;=$$
$$(\frac{\;-3*5}{2},\frac{\;3*3}{2})$$
$$\text{Midpoint Formula}\;=$$
$$(\frac{\;2}{2},\frac{\;6}{2})$$
$$\text{Midpoint Formula}\;=\;(1,3)$$
